Why Apple products rule?
From the ingenious solution to the iPhone 3G not being able to be activated)to the very user friendly design such that 3rd party softwares had to be installed using hacks. It has definitely made life a lot easier on its inexplicably large crazy fanbases.
So, what's the difference between the new iPhones and bricks?
bricks don't cost 300 dollars each.

Has anyone tried the new Apple iPhone?

I wonder what happened to the high profile iPhone. So far I have not seen it with my own eyes yet, but its existence is real, like how the Babel fish is not.
Apple had the idea of combining an widescreen iPod and a cellular phone into one. The "iPhone" also has touch control interface. From the picture above, I might also suspect iPhones have secret fetish for clown fishes, and might have hidden Nemo away.
Anyway, I didn't like the iPod, so by transitivity, I probably will not like the iPhone as well, since the iPod constitutes part of it.
If anyone has an idea how the damn thing works, leave a comment, thanks.

The new roles of the common handheld communication device, known as cell phones.
Ooo... so i got an Mp3 player that plays only songs with bitrate up to 192 bit/s. You picky consumers out there don't start mocking my new Samsung D807 because I am sure yours can't even play it unless u made it urself.
I bought this phone thinking that it'd replace a need for me to get an IPod, well, the idea seems possible, but having to recompress everything is a bit troublesome.
The reason why I did not even start b*tching bout this 192 bit/s thing is because as an Electrical Engineer myself I know how hard (or have a relatively accurate estimate of) it is to make a hardware Mpeg Decoder. and to put it into a 50mmx50mm die that is the brain of your cellular phone.
Believe me, if they could run it faster than what it could play, they would have done so already. I don't think cell phones are meant to be overclocked like ur processor is. Even if you can do it, u probably will just fry ur new LG chocolate within 2 days anyway.
Well, as I was typing out my blog, I was trying out the new feature, playing a popular Jay Chou song from a couple years back. I did not like Jay in any particular fashion, but I put it in because there are friends of mine that didn't like him in particular. Don't bother asking me why it makes sense, because it don't and there are times you REALLY REALLY need to irritate someone and you'll never know what may come in handy. (hmm.. maybe a speakerphone...)
well, my samsung's feature allowing the ringtone to be set to only be as large as 600kb. It took me a long time to resize my songs.. arghhh...
it's still a good phone. Go get urs now, and put ur iPod near the 5-10 year old discman, because u should categorized ur stuff appriopriately, and it's time to organize ur out-of-fashion-nothing-more-than-just-a-show-with-stolen-technology-from-Creative-Labs iPod in the right place.

No more iPod for u guys.
There are so many iPods around the place nowadays, making md players, discmans, walkmans and other portable devices look like a big joke. And with people wearing white colored earphones, it is really easy to see how much money apple's been earning from this device.
That fact aside, the International Trade Commission is investigating claims by Creative that apple is importing stuff that actually infringes copyrights.
I don't really have an iPod, but I think it is really convenient to have one. Maybe one that has volitile memory (as my intro to logic design professor would put it). So when some agents come and suspect that I have pirated stuff on my iPod (ahem, which I of course do not have *hyperventilates*) , I'll just unplug it (and it acts like a very fast delete button) and Voila! But the setback is that i must make sure the battery doesn't run out, or everything will be gone. On second thought, maybe an iPod with a global reset button would be good. (For all you software ppl out there, it is a reformat button)
Back to the topic, I don't have an iPod, and I don't intend to get one because I am broke. But anyway, if embargo is placed on iPods, well, it seems that I won't be able to get one after all.
so folks, go grab one iPod before it's too late!

About this blog
A lot of stuff about what I think, and not what I am about. Which is good, because I would be able to make fun of Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Penn State, and discuss on our futility against Ohio State. (But Woo Shoelace!)
I still think the word "god" should not be capitalized, because like oxygen or air or universe, it's an entity, and is not specific or special in its meaning.
