A friend and I were chilling out on the 5th floor of Midvalley City. All of a sudden she said in astonishment, her eyes gazed straight at a booth where there are models having make-ups.
Friend : "wa, got leng lui o,"
Me (not being aware of the surroundings, instinctively replied): "where?".
Friend : "I thought guys like to look at pretty girls one, what's wrong with you?"
Me : . . .
OUCH!
The damage was done.
I have been thinking of alternative endings if this conversation ever comes up again.
Scenario 1
Friend : "I thought guys like to look at pretty girls one, what's wrong with you?"
Me : (Calm, look around for a while) "Nothing's wrong with me, but I really can't see any pretty girls, you know, my standards are quite high"
Scenario 2
Friend : "I thought guys like to look at pretty girls one, what's wrong with you?"
Me : I don't pick people out because they don't look pretty, if not what am I doing here with you.
yes, I know it's a bit sour... but that's what u tried to hit me with first!
Scenario 3
Friend : "I thought guys like to look at pretty girls one, what's wrong with you?"
Me : Yeah, obviously I like to look at pretty girls, but it's hard to look anything past the one beside me.. (probably the more civil option at the moment, but side effects include high possibility of eternal damnation )
Scenario 4
Friend : "I thought guys like to look at pretty girls one, what's wrong with you?"
Me : . . . (but with a much more cooler, nonchalant look on the face)
yeah.. i think 4 is a better choice.

So what did you actually say? Or the damage occurred was ensued with silence?
And in my humble opinion, *not all* guys look at, stare at pretty girls all the time. I truly sympathize women who think that they are being watch closely by men all the time.
yup, u guessed right.
what would you do if u're in my shoes anyway?
btw, I too, sympathize girls or women who thinks that they're being watched very closely by men, not because of them feeling very insecure, lack of privacy or those touchy-feely stuff, instead I sympathize them because of their pain and their waste of time and money on cosmetic products that they apply everyday before going to lectures.
What would I do if I were in your shoes?
I guess I will just give a cynical smile in return, hoping that she will sense my resentment towards such mentality.
y so sour? They might be just kidding, or just trying to "fish" a reaction out of you. Poke poke poke..
Come to think about it, maybe I was feeling sour when I wrote the reply.
Yes, it might haven been just a joke!
